Can't i just repair my roof?

The chances are that you can still repair your roof. In most cases, even with a very old roof that’s been poorly maintained, there are steps you can take to delay the time when you have to completely replace the entire system. That said, the importance of regular roof maintenance early in the life of a roof cannot be over emphasized. An example we like to use is this: When you buy a new car, you fully expect to change the oil on a regular basis. You rotate and replace the tires from time to time. And when your brakes start to squeak, you know its past time to replace the pads and rotors.

If you want to get the most life out of your roof system, a basic plan of regular maintenance of the roof’s key components is essential. Along with some mostly simple repairs, over time, you can add years of service life to your roof. If you are the pro-active type and are willing to do regular maintenance and some occasional repairs on your roof/s from early on; you can add years of life to your roof system. On the other hand, for the less pro-active; if you haven’t done regular maintenance over the years, but can commit to a somewhat more rigorous repair & maintenance program, it’s still likely you can put off the huge expenditure of complete roof replacement for some time.

ACKER & GUERRERO has a dedicated repair and maintenance department whose goal it is to extend the life of your existing roof for as long as is practical. Though there is no oil to change, or tires to rotate, there are several simple items that will add years of additional service life to your existing roof system: Simply follow the program.
